This position requires prior training in evolutionary biology, quantitative genetics, plant molecular biology or bioinformatics and a strong interest in genomic and/or quantitative approaches. You will have access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in Düsseldorf and join a team of excellent plant biologists and evolutionary geneticists. 

Our group focuses on population genetics of plants and coevolution between plants and microbes.  The three major projects in the group are wild tomatoes and bacterial pathogens, Arabidopsis and oomycete pathogens, and Lotus species and rhizobia.
